About me

I am an Associate Professor in the UTS Law Faculty in Sydney Australia. I teach and research in the areas of insolvency law, debt restructuring, secured transactions and corporate law. I have been teaching and researching in these areas for the past 15 years.

I am the program head for the ARITA Advanced Certification course, offered by the UTS Faculty of Law.

I am a member of the Law Council of Australia’s Business Law Section Insolvency and Reconstruction Committee and the Corporations Committee. I am also an academic member of ARITA and a member of INSOL International. I am a former President of the Corporate Law Teachers’ Association and have previously served on the Banking and Financial Services Law Association academic executive committee. I am a fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia and have previously chaired a number of their subject and educational advisory committees.
